The FT ‘How To Spend It’ dinner

The Financial Times’ ‘How To Spend It’ supplement turned 20 years old last week and to celebrate they took over Soho’s Pollen Street Social to launch a global series of exclusive dinners with a presentation by one of the world’s most celebrated chef, Ferran Adria of internationally renowned restaurant elBulli.

Over 2000 plates of food inspired by some of the most popular dishes from elBulli were served to a plethora of lucky individuals who had the chance to sample Jason Atherton’s interpretations that included native blue Scottish lobster ceviche and an apple mojito sandwich.

The event was co-hosted by Gillian De Bono, editor of How To Spend It and was sponsored by luxury retailers, Vertu.

We were there to interview some of the key people that made the event possible and document the hectic scenes in the kitchen as the chefs sent out plate after plate of culinary magic…with over 100 mouths to feed it’s safe to say we were witness to the grandeur of London’s tastiest production line.
